Elite Car Rental

Driving License

The hirer and/or authorized driver must have held a full and valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years up to and including the time of car hire /rental and that license must bear no current endorsements during the last two years. A driving license from the country of residence or an International Driver's Permit is generally acceptable, provided that it is valid as above.

Insurance

All our vehicles are comprehensively insured. From time to time we may charge a compulsory daily insurance charge if we feel the driver of the car is a risk factor. When you hire a car from us, the responsibility for repairs arising from damages caused by your carelessness will be borne by you.

Car Hire Agreement

If you want to drive the car that you have hired or the rental car. We will provide you with a standard form of agreement covering all the issues that may arise. Notwithstanding the above conditions the company reserves the right to refuse a hirer at anytime without assigning any reason.

Security

To stay safe; lock the car when you leave it unattended. Always pack your in safe places especially when you are in unfamiliar towns. Do not pack the car in unsecured public parkings overnight. The security of the car is your responsibility when it is in your custody.

Theft Protection Insurance

All our vehicles cover the hirer's liability for theft of the vehicle. When signing a car rental or car hire agreement we do provide you with all the terms that cover this clause.

Collision Damage Waiver

The Hirer's liability for damage to the car is automatically covered subject to the terms and conditions of the car hire contract. Damage to tires, windscreen and underneath of the vehicle is not covered.

Excess Liability Waiver

Insurance excess waiver is available for certain vehicles. This insurance cover protects the hirer/driver of having to pay any excess fees brought about by damage and /or loss to the car. Our Insurance covers Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania including COMESA countries

Terms of Payment

Payments can also be made by charge cards i.e. Visa and MasterCard and the total cost of the rental will be charged on completion excluding fuel.

Chauffeur Services

We charge USD 10 per day inclusive of meals within Nairobi or Mombasa, between 06:00 hrs to 19:00 hrs. Overtime will be charged at US$ 10 for the next 5 hours till 00:00 hrs. Chauffeur services will be charged at USD 18 per day inclusive of meals and accommodation, for all other places in Kenya between 06:00 hrs to 19:00hrs. Overtime will be charged at USD 8 for the next 5 hours till 00:00 hrs.
